MINUTES OF THE MEETING
OF THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD
Monday, December 14, 2009
Members Present: Bob Weimer, John Marler, Billy Kurtz, Austin Bryan
Members Absent: Rick Smith, John Kiltz, Darrick McGill
Staff Present: Mark Thomas, Tina Dunbar
A. Call to order – 4:04
Weimer conducted the meeting in Chair Smith’s absence
B. Discussion and possible action on the minutes from the September 10, 2009, meeting
Unanimously approved (motion Kurtz, second Marler)
C. Discussion and possible action on Board membership.
Discussion was held on expiring memberships on this board and GEDCO and
GTEC.
D. Discussion and possible action on Staff report
Mark Thomas provided an update on recent projects including the
land/infrastructure study and the ED breakfast.
E. Discussion and possible action regarding future meeting dates and agenda items
Motion was made by Kurtz, seconded by Bryan to hold a reception for outgoing
members (unanimously approved).
