Minutes
April 20, 2011 at 3:30 p.m.
New Planning Conference Room —Georgetown Municipal Complex

Members present: Brad Curlee, Kyle Fisher, Morris Greenberg, Gary Leissner, Lalena Parkhurst,
Ron Pergl, Tim Todd, Patsy Williams, Clay Woodard
Members absent: None
Staff present: Jennifer Bills, Housing Coordinator; Avery Craft, Recording Secretary
This is a regular meeting of the Housing Advisory Board of the City of Georgetown. The Board,
appointed by the Mayor and the City Council, makes recommendations to the City Council on
affordable housing matters.
Regular Session ‐ To begin no earlier than 3:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order at 3:35 by Chair Todd.
Agenda
1. Introductions of new board members.
New member Brad Clay Woodward is welcomed to the Housing Advisory Board.
2. Election of Chair, Vice‐chair and Secretary for the 2011‐2012 Housing Advisory Board.
Housing Advisory Board re‐elects Tim Todd as Chair, Morris Greenburg as Vice‐Chair
and Kyle Fisher as Secretary.
3. Consideration and possible action to approve minutes from the March 16, 2011 meeting.
Motion to approve the minutes by Leissner. Second by Morris. Approved 9‐0.
4. Discussion and possible action to create working groups to work more in‐depth to create
basic implementation plans for the first four policy recommendations.
Chair Todd suggests the Housing Advisory Board members each take policy
recommendation to do specific research for and then report their findings and possible
revisions to the board next month. Two board members will be assigned to each of the
four policy recommendations. The members should come up with a detailed description
and set forth the language that describes the recommendations, as City Council has
asked that the Housing Advisory Board come back with a more in‐depth explanation.

5. Discussion about revising the first four policy recommendations of the draft Housing
Element.
Bills states that the Census data will most likely be out in the fall. Once the Census
numbers are out, the Housing Advisory Board can take a look at revising the language
of the first four policy recommendations to bring to City Council around January 2012.
6. Discussion and possible action on future meeting dates.
Board agrees to meet for the scheduled meeting on May 18, 2011.
7. Adjournment.
Motion to adjourn by Todd. Second by Morris. Approved 9‐0.
Meeting adjourned at 4:40 pm.
