P R O C L A M A T I O N
WHEREAS, the Sun City Democrats are having the second Earth Day
Fair to be held in Sun City; and
WHEREAS, the event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in
the Sun City Legacy Hills Park Pavilion on Earth Day, which is on
Tuesday evening, April 22, 2009; and
WHEREAS, speakers, vendors and naturalists have been invited to
tell the Sun City residents how individuals can begin at home, in the
yard, and in the community to undertake the huge task of helping the
planet.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE GARVER, MAYOR of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, in recognition of this event, do hereby proclaim
Wednesday, April 22, 2009 to be
SUN CITY EARTH DAY
