STATE OF TEXAS,
COUNTY OF WILLIA14SON.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, by a resolution duly
adopted by its City Council, has abandoned the streets and
land hereinafter described, and likewise by resolution duly
adopted by the City Council, has authorized the sale of the
same to Southwestern University:
NOW, THEREFORE, IMOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the
City of Georgetown, acting herein b y and through its duly au-
thorized officers, for and in consideration of the sum of
a 1.00
, cash to it in hand paid by Southwestern
University, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and
confessed, has GRANTED, BARGAINED And SOLD, and by these pre-
sents does GRANT, BARGAIN and SELL unto Southtirestern University
the following described property located within the City Limits
of the City of Georgetown, t8 wit:
(a) All of Olive Street from its intersection with
the South line of Anderson Addition to the 6outh
line of Ninth Street.
(b) All of Ninth Street from its intersection with
Olive Street to the East line of Laurel Street;
(c) All of Laurel Street from its intersection with
Ninth Street to a line running,• North 67 East
across the width of Laurel Street, the center boint
of such line being loacated 11 feet South of the in-
tersection of the North line of loth Street with
the center line of Laurel Street.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto Southwestern University, its suc-
cessors and assigns, forever.
EXECUTED this the 14th day of January, 1957
