BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CCMNICIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETC}'WN, TEA Q
That each alderman, to be; elected at said general election,
shall rece lvet a salary of teJn(„ 10.00) Dollars per month, paid
monthly, during the term for which he is elected.
That the face that it is necessary to fix the salaries
of the said officers prior to the date of the said election creates
emergency making it necessary that the rules requiring that an
ordinance be read at three separated meetings prior to its passage
he suspended, and that the said rules are hereby suspended , and
this ordinance is a.t once pa.ssed, and that it takes effect from and
after its passage.
