ENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN
An AMENDMENT to the Ordinance ,of the City of Georgetown, Texas,amending
ending
the Zoning Ordinance .which went ;into effect on September 21, 1961, amending
the Zoning District Map and making this amendment a part of the map : of the
original ordinance; to change the hereinafter described real estate in said
city from "R�1" one family dwelling district to "M®1" Ind d trial and Manu®
fa Luring district, as hereinafter set forth.
BE IT ORDAINED by the CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS*
WHEREAS, an ,application has been made to the City Council for thepurpose
of changing the Zoning Ordinance on the following described real estate*
Being 3.08 acres of the C. Stubblefield Survey, .Abst #558, in
Williamson County, Texas, part of Outlot 5, and part f`Obtlot 6, t
Division "":A:", City of Georgetown, Texas, also being ill of Lots
1, 2, 3, 40 26, 27, and 28, and part of lots 25, 2930, 36 and 5,
all of a play parks, and a portion of Lee & Moseby Dr ves in the
Burnham Addition to Georgetown, Texas.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the
Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation.and
report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said
Zoning' Ordinance on the above described property from "R-111 "s orae -family 'dwell-
ing district to "M�V Industrial and Manufacturing district, which said meet®
ing was held on March 15, 1966; and,
UTIEREAS, the City Council before adopting this era ent to the Zoning
Ordinance gave notice; of such hearing by publishing the same three times in
the Williamson County Sun, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas,
which said notice stated the time amn+d'.p ace of such hearing and which time
was not earlier than 15 days from the first day of such publication* and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commissi
on approved the c gage aforesaid
in the Zoning Ordinance; and no protest was entered against the proposed change;
and,
k€ S, written notices were given to all of the owners of lots within
200 feet of the above described property, as required by w;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT R. OLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgem
town, Texas that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Matra of the City of Georget
be amended so that the property described above shall be and the same is here
by removed from "11-1 One Family Dwelling District to "Mt V Industrial and
Manufacturing District.
The enactment of this Ordinance being necessary to the immediate ,preser-
vaation of public business and to provide for the usual daily operation of the
municipal department, it is declared to be an emergency m4 sure, which shall
have and take effect following its present reading and adoption.
READ, PASSED .AND ADOPTED by unanimous vote, this the Ilth day of April,
