A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, Granting a
Petition for Voluntary Annexation of for 0.415 acres of Right of Way, more or less,
in the Joseph P. Pulsifer Survey and Clement Stubblefield Survey, for CR 265
Right of Way, Owned by the City of Georgetown; and Directing Publication of
Notice and Public Hearings for Proposed Annexation
WHEREAS, the owners of the hereinafter described area of land have requested the
governing body of the City of Georgetown, pursuant to Local Government Code Section 43.028,
to annex said area of land into the City of Georgetown, to -wit:
All of that certain 0.415 acres of Right of Way, more or less, in the Joseph P. Pulsifer Survey and Clement
Stubblefield Survey, for CR 265 Right of Way that is more particularly described by metes and bounds in
Exhibit "A,' and shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "B," both of which Exhibits are attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full; and
WHEREAS, the said area of land, is contiguous to the existing city limits of the City of
Georgetown, and is vacant and without residents or has fewer than three qualified voters
residing on it.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
That the said Petition, being proper and according to law, shall be, and it is hereby,
granted; and, further, the City Secretary is directed to commence the publication of notices of
two public hearings to be held May 9, 2006, and on May 23, 2006, before the City Council on the
subject of the proposed annexation of the said area into the City of Georgetown; and further, to
place upon the City Council Agendas for June 13, 2006, and on or before August 22, 2006, the
consideration of the passage of an ordinance annexing said area into the City of Georgetown.

PULSIFER SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 498, IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A
PORTION OF A 2.54-ACRE TRACT OF LAND AND A 4.00-ACRE TRACT OF LAND
CONVEYED -TO WESTINGHOUSE ROAD VENTURES ET AL, BY INSTRUMENTS
RECORDED IN DOCUMENT NOS. 2002001637 AND 2002018646 OF THE OFFICIAL PUBLIC
RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, SAID 0 892-ACRE TRACT OF LAND BEING
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING at a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Type II concrete monument set
in the proposed northerly right-of-way line of State Highway No. 29 for the southeasterly comer
and POINT OF BEGINNING hereof and from which a TxDOT Type II concrete monument set in
said proposed northerly right-of-way line of SH29 bears S 47°20'59" E a distance of 70.71 feet;
1) THENCE with said proposed northerly right-of-way line and through the interior of said
4.00-acre tract S 87°39'01" W for a distance of 25 04 -feet to a calculated point in the
existing easterly right-of-way line of County Road: No. 265 West (CR265W) and the
westerly boundary line of said 4.00-acre tract for the southwesterly corner hereof;
2) THENCE with said existing easterly right-of-way Line N 20°29'39" W for a distance of
310.20 feet to a YZ" iron rod found in the northwesterly corner of said 4.00-acre tract
and the southwesterly corner of said 2.54-acre tract for an angle point hereof;
3) THENCE with said existing easterly right-of-way line N 20°39'20" W for a distance of
200.50 feet to a'/2' iron rod found being the southwesterly corner of Connell Cemetery
and the most westerly northwest corner of said 2.54-acre tract for the most westerly
northwest corner hereof;
THENCE departing said existing easterly right-of-way line and with the common boundary line
of said 2.54-acre tract and Connell Cemetery the following (2) courses numbered 4 and 5:
4) N 75°18'30" E for a distance of 27.88 feet to a 'A" iron rod found being an interior
corner of said 2 54-acre tract and the southeasterly corner of said Connell Cemetery
for an interior corner hereof;

southerly right-of-way line of CR265 same being in the northeasterly corner of said

the most northerly northwest corner hereof;
6) THENCE with said existing southerly right-of-way line and northerly boundary Tine of
said 2 54-acre tract S 88°19'17" E for a distance of 86.97 feet to a capped W iron rod
set for the northeasterly comer hereof and from which a calculated point in the
northeasterly corner of said 2 54-acre tract bears S 88°19'17" E a distance of 341 26
feet
THENCE departing said existing southerly right-of-way line and through the interior of said
2.54-acre and 4.00-acre tracts the following (5) courses numbered 8 through 12;
7) S 42°39'00" W for a distance of 27.95 feet to a capped 1/z" iron rod set for an angle
point hereof;
8) S 03°55'33" E for a distance of 75,06 feet to a capped '/f iron rod set in the beginning
of a curve to the left;
9) Along the arc of said curve 147.87 feet, having a radius of 286.96 feet, a central angle
of 29°31'29", and a chord which bears S 18°41'18 E a distance of 146.24 feet, to a
capped'/2" iron rod set in the beginning of a curve to the right;
10) Along the arc of said curve at 18.80 feet pass the common boundary line of said
2 54-acre and 4 00-acre tracts and continuing for a total arc distance of 184.56 feet
having a radius of 339.99 feet, a central angle of 31 °06'03", and a chord which bears
S 17°54'01" E a distance of 182.29 feet to a capped �/2" iron rod set;
