RESOLUTION NO. 1112"5—© A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, Granting a Petition for Voluntary Annexation of Approximately 51.34 acres of Right of Way, more or less, in the Antonio Flores Survey and John Berry Survey, for Inner Loop East Owned by the City of Georgetown; and Directing Publication of Notice and Public Hearings for Proposed Annexation WHEREAS, the owners of the hereinafter described area of land have requested the governing body of the City of Georgetown, pursuant to Local Government Code Section 43.028, to annex said area of land into the City of Georgetown, to -wit: All of that certain 51.34 acre tract in the Antonio Flores Survey and John Berry Survey that is more particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A," and shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "B, ' both of which Exhibits are attachedhereto and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full and WHEREAS, the said area of land is less than one-half mile in width, is contiguous to the existing city limits of the City of Georgetown, and is vacant and without residents or has fewer than three qualified voters residing on it. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: That the said Petition, being proper and according to law, shall be, and it is hereby, granted; and, further, the City Secretary is directed to commence the publication of notices of two public hearings to be held November 8, 2005, and on November 22, 2005, before the City Council onthe subject of the proposed annexation of the said area into the City of Georgetown; and further, to place upon the City Council Agendas for December 13, 2005, and on or before February 28, 2006, the consideration of .the passage of an ordinance annexing said area into the City of Georgetown.
