HIGHLIGHTS
• The grant from the Texas State Library and the federal Institute of Museum and
Library Services that during FY 2011-12 funded the salary of the WOWlmobile
librarian and materials for the bookmobile has been renewed for another year.
• Central Texas author Jeff Abbott spoke on Wednesday, November 14, in the Friends'
Hill Country Authors Series. The event was well attended.
• On Sunday; November 18, Joe Sundell provided live music in the library lobby.
• Patricia Lye's ail paintings of landscapes and figures hung in the second floor
galleries during November,
• Members of the Texas Society of Sculptors brought in new pieces that will be on
display on the second floor, in the main room and on the bridge, for the next eight
months.
STAFF ACTIVITIES.
• Eric Lashley and Leslie Bradley took the WQWlmobile to the Sun City Rotary Club
meeting on Friday, November 30. The club made a donation to the Friends of the
Library during the meeting.

Comment: Could this be enlarged and posted to the rooms of the library so people can find
subjects they are interested in (it was a brochure titled "The World of Duey")
