MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD MTG. MINUTES
4 P.M. — FRIDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2010
WILDFIRE RESTAURANT
812 S. AUSTIN AVE., GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
Board Members Present: Connie Watson, chair; Ki Browning, Denise
Jimenez, vice chair; Linda McCalla
Board Member Absent: Mike Burton, secretary; Lucas Adams and
Rusty Winkstern
Guests Present: Len Lester, The Escape; Trisha Tallman,
Downtown Georgetown Assoc.
City Staff Present: Robbie Wyler, Historic District Planner; Shelly
Hargrove, Main Street Manager
1. The meeting was called to order at 4:24 p.m. by Board Chair Connie Watson.
2. Denise moved to approve the November 9'h meeting minutes, Connie
seconded. All in favor, motion approved.
3. Len Lester with The Escape presented his application to repair/replace his tie -
rod canopy due to water damage for a total cost of $13,729, he's asking for a
grant of $6,864. Connie moved to accept, Linda seconded. All in favor,
motion approved. The board encouraged him to have the work done before
or after the Georgetown Swirl on February 26.
6. Robbie gave a HARC report on El Monumento's application. It will go back
to HARC for final approval at a meeting at 4 p.m. on Monday, December 20.
7. Staff Report given by Shelly:
• Main Street ornament is almost sold out, same with the 2008 Palace
Theatre. Only the 2009 Lockett Bldg. have several ornaments left.
8. Committee Reports:
a. Promotion: Denise mentioned the ad in the Georgetown View magazine,
Ki commented on carriage ride bids for the event.
b. Economic Restructuring: no report

8. The meeting was adjourned at 5:10 p.m. The January 146 meeting will be at
8:30 a.m. at the Williamson Co. Courthouse.
