HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 86-36 - Plumbing Permit FeesAN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART ll, CHAPTER 61 ARTICLE V, SECTION 6-63 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF GEORGE- TOWN FOR CHANGING THE PLUMBING PERMIT FEES WHEREAS, The City of Georgetown did enact an Ordinance No. 78-9 that established administrative and regulatory procedure and requirements for the cost of issuing plumbing permits and inspections, and WHEREAS, said ordinance was subsequently incorporated in the City Code ARTICLE V. and Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Georgetown that Section 6-63 of the City Code be amended as follows: Plumbing permit and inspection fees are as follows: (a) Plumbing Permits (1) For issuing each permit $ 10.00 (2) For each plumbing fixture, floor drain or 2 20 trap (including water and drainage piping) (3) For each house sewer 3'50 (4) For each building sewer replaced or repaired 3.50 (5) For each septic tank and seepage pit or drainfield 3.50 (6) For each water heater and/or vent 2.20 (7) For each gas piping system of 1 to 4 outlets 2.75 (8) For each gas outlet over 4, each outlet 190 (9) For installation, alteration or repair of water piping system 2'20 (10) For installation, alteration or repair of water 3.50 treating equipment (11) For repair or alteration of drainage or vent 2.20 piping (12) For vacuum breakers or backflow protective devices installed subsequent to the installation of the piping or equipment served - 1 75 One to five Over five, each `30 (b) Lawn Sprinkler System (1) Permit Issuing Fee (2) 1-4 heads (3) 5-10 heads - each (4) Over 10 heads - each (c) Reinspection Fees PASSED AND APPROVED THIS day of upon first reading and PASSED AND APPROVED THIS of , 1986 upon second reading.
