Some general suggestions for additions to the slides as they were presented in the minutes of the last meeting included: Mention realtors coming into the arts center • Have a Kiwanis meeting going on • Make the Friday night event the beginning of a weekend festival, not just First Friday • Use a family touring town with a realtor to point out all that is taking place at the arts center • Have Mark Thomas bring in someone who is considering moving their small business to Georgetown • Put less emphasis on children's activities (schools can do those things) Slide 1: the artist should be from south Austin Slide 2: A busload of adults comes from Marble Falls to attend a workshop. During a break they go to the Square for snacks at Sweet Serendipity and Galaxy Cupcakes Slide 3: the engaged couple should be "renting" the gallery for their wedding Slide 4: mention specific restaurants that will cater lunch; have a local printer come in to talk about the flyers for the new gallery show; mention that some rooms are closed because there is a regional Rotary conference going on in them Slide 5: (?) adults attending class on genealogy and preservation of historic photos Slide 7: tie into the winery idea Paul Gaffney volunteered to help Charles and Eric create the presentation for Paul Brandenburg.
