A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a
Petition for the Voluntary Annexation of 98.22 acres in the Hudson Survey, for
Celebration Church and directing publication of notice and public hearings for
proposed annexation
Whereas, the owners of the hereinafter describedareaof land have requested the governing
body of the City of Georgetown, pursuant to Local Government Code Section 43 028, by written
petition, properly acknowledged, to annex said area of land into the City of Georgetown, to -wit:
98.22 acres in the Hudson Survey, Williamson County, Texas, more particularly shown on
the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A' and described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "B,"
both of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in
full; and
Whereas, the said area of land is contiguous to the existing city limits of the City of
Georgetown, and is without residents or has fewer than three qualified voters residing on it.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
That the said Petition, being proper and according to law, shall be, and is hereby, granted; and,
further, the City Secretary is directed to commence the publication of notices of two public hearings
to be held July 9, 2013, and July 23, 2013, before the City Council on the subject of the proposed
annexation of the said area into the city limits; and further, to place upon the City Council Agendas
for August 13, 2013, and any meeting before October 22 ,2013, the consideration of the passage of an
ordinance annexing said area into the city limits

BEING 59.56 acres of land, situated in the Francis A. Hudson Survey, Abstract No. 295 and the J. S.
Patterson Survey, Abstract No. 502, in Williamson County, Texas, said land being a portion of that
certain First Tract and Second Tract, as conveyed to Carrie Ann Barton Smith by deed as recorded In
Volume 1918, Page 884, of the Official Records of Williamson County, Texas, and as conveyed to Charles
Grady Barton by deed as recorded In Volume 1918, Page 886, of the Official Records of Williamson
County, Texas Surveyed on the ground in the month of December, 2003, under the supervision of Don
H. Bizzell, Registered Professional Land Surveyor, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin set, at a cedar corner post, at the intersection of the north line of County Road
No, 111(Westinghouse Road) and the west line of County Road No. 116, for the Southeast corner of the
above -referenced Carrie Ann Barton Smith and Charles Grady Barton Second Tract, for the Southeast
corner
hereof;
THENCE, along the north line of County Road No. 111, as follows; S 67° 42' W, passing the Southwest

County, Texas, said land being a portion of that certain tract of land, called 52.10 acres, as conveyed to
Charles Grady Barton, et al, by deed recorded as Document No. 2004049997 of the Official Records of
Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground in the month of December, 2003 and September,
2004, under the supervision of Don H. Brzzell, Registered Professional Land Surveyor, and being more
particularly described as follows;
BEGINNING at an Iron pin found on the west line of County Road Na. 116, marking the most northerly
Northeast corner of the above referenced 5210 acre Barton, et al, tract being the Southeast corner of
that certain tract of land, called 34.1118 acres, as conveyed to W. D. Kelley Foundation by deed
recorded as Document No. 2002001129 of the Official Records of Williamson County, Texas, for the
Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE, along the said west line of County Road No. 116, S 22° 00' 30" E, 154.12 feet to an iron pin
found marking the most northerly Southeast corner of the said 52.10 acre Barton, et al, tract, being the
