A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a
Petition for the Voluntary Annexation of 81.58 acres in the Walters Survey, for the
Madison at Georgetown Section III; and directing publication of notice and public
hearings for proposed annexation
Whereas, the owners of the hereinafter described area of land have requested the governing
body of the City of Georgetown, pursuant to Local Government Code Section 43.028, by written.
petition, properly acknowledged, to annex said area of land into the City of Georgetown, to -wit:
81.58 acres in the Walters Survey, Williamson County Texas, more particularly shown on
the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A ' and described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "B,"
both of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in
full; and
Whereas, the said area of land is contiguous to the existing city limits of the City of
Georgetown, and is vacant and without residents or has fewer than three qualified voters residing on
it.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
That the said. Petition, being proper and according to law, shall be, and is hereby, granted; and,
further, the City Secretary is directed to commence the publication of notices of two public hearings
to be held July 9, 2013, and July 23, 2013, before the City Council on the subject of the proposed
annexation of the said area into the city limits; and further, to place upon the City Council Agendas
for August 13, 2013, and any meeting before August 27,2013, the consideration of the passage of an
ordinance annexing said area into the city limits.

DESCRIPTION FOR JOHN GOURLEY ET. AL - MADISON AT GEORGETOWN COTENANCY (SECTION III)
BEING 81.58 acres in Williamson County, Texas; situated in the L.S. Walters Survey, Abstract
No. 653, and in the Burrell Eaves Survey, Abstract No. 216, including part of the property called 424.43
acres that was conveyed by Ken Richmond to John D. Gourley, et. al., as described in Doc. 2006052470,
Official Public Records of Williamson County Texas (OPRWCT). A Cotenancy Agreement is of record
as filed in Doc. 2010025541 (ORWCT). This parcel is a part of the 374.43 acres which was surveyed on
the ground in April of 2010, under the supervision of William F Forest, Jr , Registered Professional Land
Surveyor No. 1847. Survey note: The bearing basis for this description is the Texas Coordinate System of
1983, Grid North Texas Central Zone Line codes herein are in agreement with the survey drawing
prepared this date.
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of this parcel, in the West boundary of the said 424.43
acres that was conveyed to John Gourley, et. al., and in the East boundary of the property that was
conveyed to Somerset Hills, Ltd. (Lot 2, 189.153 ac , Doc. 2004098880). This corner stands N 22°44'34"
W 685.30 feet from an iron pin which exists at the Southwest corner of the said 424.43 acres and at the
Southwest corner of the said 374.43 acres.
THENCE with the West boundary of the said 424.43 acre tract, and the East line of the property
of Somerset Hills, Ltd. (Lot 2 189.153 ac. Doc 2004098880), along the West line of the Burrell Eaves
Survey and the East line of the F. Foy Survey, A-229, N 22°44'34" W 781.16 feet to an iron pinwhich
was found at the Northwest corner of the Burrell Eaves Survey and at the Southwest corner of the L.S.
Walters Survey, continuing with the West line of the Lemuel Walters Survey, N 20°12'45"W 1605.88
feet to the Southwest corner of a 196.50 acre property that is known as Madison Georgetown Section II.
THENCE with the boundary of said Madison Georgetown Section I1, following the South line of
Vaquero Pass (with a boundary that has not been staked), as follows, N 70°11'41 ' E 807 37 feet, (L65) N
70° 51'27" E 13.88 feet, (L64) N 73°10'56" E 80.46 feet; (L63) N 71.°31'27" E 27.84 feet; and (L62) N
70°11'41" E 38.41 feet to the beginning of a curve (C15) to the right having a radius of 1130.0 feet and a
central angle of 10°15' 16", continuing with the arc of the curve, 202.24 feet, the chord bears N 75°19' 19"
E 201.97 feet to the end of the curve; N 80°26"57" E 419.12 feet to the beginning of a curve (C14) to the
right having a radius of 930 00 feet and a central angle of 09°19'08", continuing with the arc of the curve,
151.26 feet, the chord bears N 85° 06'31" E 151.10 feet to the West boundary of the property that is
known as Madison Georgetown Section 1 (234 70 ac.).
THENCE with the West boundary of said Madison Georgetown Section 1, (with a boundary that
has not been staked), as follows, S 04°52' 11" W 437.21 feet; (L31) S 06°13'13" W 128 11 feet; (L30) S
17°33'23" W 102.48 feet; (L29) S 31°46'19 ' W 103.78 feet; (L28) S 38°33'S1" W 150.71 feet;
continuing with the with the arc of a curve (C10) to the left having a radius of 645 94 feet and a central
angle of 03°05 07", 34.78 feet with the arc of the curve, the chord bears S 50°40'04" E 34.78 feet to the
end of the curve; (L27) S 50° 40'05" E 125.22 feet (L26) S 38°55 22 ' W 49 99 feet; (L25) S 51°04'38"
E 159.14 feet; to the beginning of a curve (C9) to the left having a radius of 1550 00 feet, and a central
angle of O 1 °28'45 ', 40.01 feet with the arc of the curve, the chord bears S 50°20'15" E 40 01 feet to the
end of the curve; and S 39°16' 16" W 310.29 feet; continuing with the ate of a curve (C8) to the right
having a radius of 1232.50 and a central angle of 29°58' 14", 644 70 feet with the arc of the curve, the
chord bears S 33° 45'04" E 637.37 feet to the end of the curve; S 18°45'57" E 542.42 feet to the
beginning of a curve (C7) to the left having a radius of 247.50 feet and a central angle of 92°14'38", with
the arc of the curve 398.47 feet, the chord bears S 64° 53' 16" E 356.80 feet to the end of the curve; and
(L24) N 68°59'28" E 35.78 feet.

THENCE along the South boundary of this parcel, with a boundary that has not been staked, as
follows; (L22) S 68°59'28" W 35.78 feet to the beginning of a curve (C6) to the right having a radius of
312.50 feet anda central angle of 41 °49'34", with the arc of the curve 228 13 feet, the chord bears S 89°
54'15" W 223 09 feet to the end of the curve; (L21) S 39°39'48" W 97.85 feet; S 52°45 48" W 251 57
feet, N 85°59'13" W 714 37 feet; N 30°58'27" W 218.55 feet; and S 71°49'50" W 209.24 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING.

survey of 374.43 acres that was made on the ground under my supervision in April of 2010. This
description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief and does not represent a survey that
was made on the ground.
