NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
OF THE BUILDING STANDARDS COMMISSION
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Georgetown Building Standards Commission will
hold its regular meeting at 4:00 p.m., Monday, the 18 of December 2000, in the
Division of Development Services, Large Conference Room, 904 S. Main Street,
Georgetown, Texas to consider the following:
Agenda:
1. Meeting called to order.
2. Consideration of approval of the minutes for the regular Commission meeting
held on November 15, 2000.
3. Regular session – to convene Executive Session (Commission reserves the right
to convene into Executive Session at any time during the meeting regarding any
agenda item.)
Executive Session – In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551
Government Code, Vernon’s Texas Code, Annotated, the item below will be
Discussed in closed session.
A. Section 551.071 consultation with attorney
4. Consideration and possible action of violations and non-compliance with the
Dangerous Structure Ordinance of the City of Georgetown on the Accessory
Structure (Carport) located on the property described as the Williams Addition,
Lot 2, Block 2, in Williamson County, located at 210 Central Dr., in Georgetown,
Texas, whether owners and/or lien holders of said structure and/or the City of
Georgetown shall be ordered to repair, remove, or demolish said building within a
specific period of time and to issue such orders as the Commission my deem
necessary related to remedying the dangerous conditions.
5. Consideration and possible action of violations and non-compliance with the
Dangerous Structure Ordinance of the City of Georgetown on the Accessory
Structure located on the property described as the Eubank Addition,
Lot 4, Block 4, in Williamson County, located at 1808 Eubank St., in
Georgetown, Texas, whether owners and/or lien holders of said structure and/or
the City of Georgetown shall be ordered to repair, remove, or demolish said
building within a specific period of time and to issue such orders as the
Commission my deem necessary related to remedying the dangerous conditions.

6. Consideration and possible action to the interpretation of the City of Georgetown
Electrical Ordinance, Chapter 15.16, Section 15.16.020 and Section 15.16.030
and enforcement of the City of Georgetown Municipal Code, Chapter 1.08-
General Penalty, Section 1.08.010, in reference to the installation of electrical
fixtures by non- licensed contractors.
7. Commission members statements of items they wish to be included on the next
regularly scheduled meeting agenda.
8. Adjournment.
