Electrical Ordinance from the 1999 National Electrical Code to the 2002 National Electrical
Code and Electrical Licensing requirements in order to be presented to the City of
Georgetown City Council for consideration and future adoption.
Dave handed out the revised ordinance to each member showing proposed changes to the
Electrical Ordinances. He stated that he was going to present it to Council Workshop on November
8, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. He asks for any input from members at that time to make all proper changes.
Dave discussed his recommended registration fees and he will be working to finalize those fees
pertaining to all categories. Ed Baxter brought up concern regarding the two-year renewal being the
same date for each Electrician registered no matter when the registration occurred. For
administration purposes Dave thought the same expiration date would save staff time.

Dave discussed a section in the 2002 NEC Code Book. Section will not apply regarding staff
