and Recreation Conference Room, 1003 North Austin Ave., Georgetown, Texas.

January 10, 2003
I.CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Wes Varner calls the meeting to order at 4:10 PM at the Parks and Recreations
Conference room.
II.DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON BYLAWS
Motion to move discussion of Bylaws to next meeting by Jonathan Easley. Seconded by
Lauren Senchack. Vote 21-0 in favor.
III.DISSCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON COMMITTEE MEETINGS
Committee chairs discuss what activities are coming up and what duties can be delegated
to the different committees.
IV.DISSCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON THE CALENDAR
The Board discusses having the GYAB Retreat at Highland Lakes Conference Center,
with possible February dates that would be available.
Sam Maspero makes a motion that the retreat is held at Highland Lakes. Jonathan Easley
seconds. Vote: 21-0 in favor.
V.DISSCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON YOUTH SERVICE DAY
Deborah Wills discusses the upcoming Youth Service Day and asks GYAB members to
join other Youth in the Community in the day of service
to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., on January 20, 2003. There will be a
pizza party following the service day at the Georgetown
Community Center for all participants.
