A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
GRANTING A PETITION FOR VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY 1.02
ACRES OF LAND IN THE WILLIAM ADDISION SURVEY OWNED BY BBH DEVELOPMENT
CO. INC.; AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR
PROPOSED ANNEXATION.

the City of Georgetown, pursuant to Local Government Code Section 43.028, by written petition, properly
acknowledged, to annex said area of land into the City of Georgetown, to-wit:
All of that certain 1.02 acre tract in the William Addison Survey that is more particularly described by metes and
bounds inExh/bit'A,"and shown on the map attached hereto aoExhibit "B,"bothof which Exhibits are attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference au if set forth in full; and
WHEREAS, the said area of land is less than one-half mile in width, is contiguous to the existing city limits
of the City of Georgetown, and is vacant and without residents or has fewer than three qualified voters residing on
it.
NOW THEREFORE, BE|T RESOLVED 8Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFGEORGETOWN,
That the said Petition, being proper and according 10 law, shall be, and dis hereby, granted; and, further,
the City Secretary is directed to commence the publication of notices of two public hearings to be held on July 9,
2002 and on July 23, 2002 before, the City Council on the subject of the proposed annexation of the said area into
the City of Georgetown; and further, to place upon the City Council Agendas for August 131, 2002 and August 27,
2002 the consideration of the passage of an ordinance annexing said area into the City of Georgetown.
