WHEREAS, as a Home-Rule Municipality, according to Chapter 43 of the Texas Local
Government Code, the City of Georgetown has the authority to fix and extend its municipal
boundaries and annex area adjacent to its boundaries; and
WHEREAS, a municipality may annex only in its extraterritorial jurisdiction, unless the
municipality owns the area; and
WHEREAS, State law gives authority to municipalities to annex sparsely occupied areas on
the petition of the area landowners when the area is one-half mile or less in width, contiguous to the
municipality, and is vacant and without residents or on which fewer than three qualified voters
reside; and
WHEREAS, a written petition for annexation has been received from the owners of the
83.330 ACRES IN JOSEPH FISH SURVEY, TO BE KNOWN AS WOODLAKE SUBDIVISION,
LOCATED ON F.M. 2338 (WILLIAMS DRIVE), describing the area by metes and bounds; and
WHEREAS, this property is one-half mile or less in width, is contiguous to the City limits of
the City of Georgetown, and is vacant and without residents or has fewer than three qualified voters
residing on it; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas heard the petition and the
arguments for and against the annexation; and
WHEREAS, a proposed service plan was presented to and discussed by the Council and
all interested persons; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the annexation is in the best interests of
the City of Georgetown;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are
hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and
expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that this
resolution implements the following policies of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element:

1. Environmental and Resource Conservation End 3.0, which states: "The physical qualities
that make Georgetown attractive are protected"; and
2. Growth and Physical Development End 7.2, which states: "Annexation procedures and
standards benefit the community"
and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other
Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Georgetown hereby grants the petition for
voluntary annexation of 83.330 ACRES IN JOSEPH FISH SURVEY, TO BE KNOWN AS
WOODLAKE SUBDIVISION, LOCATED ON F.M. 2338 (WILLIAMS DRIVE), as described in Exhibit
C.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign on behalf of the City Council of the
City of Georgetown.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.

Dear Mayor Kersch:
Andice Development Company, the owner of a 1 18.34 acre parcel out of the Joseph Fish Survey,
Abstract No. 232, as convey to it by a deed recorded in the Official Records of Williamson County, Texas,
as Document No. 9636558; herein petition that the part of the 118.34 acres that are not in the corporate
limits of the City of Georgetown, be annexed to the city as quickly as possible.
Attached is a set of Metes and Bounds description of the area to be annexed.

COUNTY OFFICIAL RECORDS (WCOR) , SAID
TRACT OF LAND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED By METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING for reference at a rebar found on the curving southwest -right-of-way
Line of F.M. 2336 (Williams Drive) at the southeast corner of said Andice
Development CO. (ADC) tract of land, also the northeast corner of the 19-14
acres conveyed to The Crouch Revocable Trust by deed recorded in Document No.
9722694 of the WCOR, for the southeast corner of said ADC tract of land, from
which another rebar found (capped) bears N 65055' E 0.79 feet;
THENCE with the common line between said ADC and Crouch tracts of land, the
following four (4) courses-.
1. South 70'47,33" West a distance of 347.90 feet to a rebar found;
2. South 70'14150" West a distance of 154.07 feet to a point in the
present city limits per CITY OF GEORGETOWN CITY ORDINANCE NUMBER 95-12
dated APRIL 11, 1995 and described as 500' parallel- and southwest of the
centerline of F.M. 2338 and the north line of said Crouch Tract to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING and the southeast corner hereof;
3. South 70'14150" West a distance of 136.69 to a brass disk in concrete
found stamped "Corps of Engineers (C.O.E.) U.S. Army 1967 P.I. 6+24.40
North Access Road";
4. South 68*43'19" West a distance of 145.91 feet another C.O.E. moniment
found stamped "Prop. Cor. 101-2 1968" at Crouch's northwest corner, also
the most northerly northeast corner of the 122 acres (Tract No. 101)
conveyed to the United States of America oy aeed recorded in Voiame Si4,

THENCE continuing with the USA 122 acres northerly line and departing ADC's
southerly line in a southerly direction, S 6905'2211 W a distance of 871.41 feet
to a point on the extension of ADC's easterly boundary for the southwest corner
hereof;
THENCE with the extension of said ADC east boundary N 44*14'37" W a distance of
10.01 feet to a rebar found at the southwest corner of said ADC tract, also the
southeast corner of the Patsy Lee Spencer 63.64 acre tract described in Document
no. 9904209 of the WCOR;
THENCE with the common line between ADC and Spencer, the following three
courses:
1. North 44014'37" West a distance of 108.63 feet to a 60-d nail found in
a 9" live oak tree;
?. North 40'59129" West a distance of 1902.65 feet to a rebar found;
3. North 41'8118" West a distance of 102.10 feet to a rebar found capped
"RPLS 1847" at Spencer's northeast corner, also the southeast corner of
the Roy Tate Gunn 32.81 acres described in Document no. 9904209 of the

THENCE with the common line between ADC and Gunn, the following four courses:
1. North 41'6'54" West a distance of 211.08 feet to a 5/8" rebar found;
2. North 43*0'05" West a distance of 1.39 feet to a 3/8" rebar found;
3. North 4108'12" West a distance of 462.86 feet to a 60-d nail found in
a 13" elm tree;
4. North 40'45'31" West a distance of 346.41 feet to a rebar found in a
rock pile at ADC's northwest corner, also the southwest corner of the 21'r-R
Partnership 10.00 acre Tract No. 1 described in Document no. 9876865 of
the WCOR, also a point on Gunn's northeast line, for the northwest corner
hereof ;
THENCE with the common line between ADC and 2MR's 10 acre tract, N 62'4'50" E
a distance of 1014.64 feet to a point of intersection with the present city
limit line as described in said CITY OF GEORGETOWN ORDINANCE 95-12, from which a
rebar found for the northeast corner of said ADC tract, in the west row of F.M.
2338, bears N 62*4'50" E, a distance of 513.41 feet;
THENCE crossing said ADC Tract, with the said city limit line of ORDINANCE 95-12
the following six courses:
1. South 54017'13" East a distance of 249.820 feet to a non - tangent point
of curve to the right;
2. With said curve to the right, whose central angle is 09'05'49", radius
is 5229.615 feet, arc distance is 830.31 feet, and whose chord bears South
48'44'45" East a distance of 829.44 feet to a point;
3. South 44'9138" 'East a distance of 356.97 feet to a point at a non-
tangent point of curve to the right;
4. With said curve to the right, whose central angle is 08*33'44", radius
is 5229.65 feet, arc distance is 781.52 feet, and whose chord bears
South 39051'58" East a distance of 780.80 feet to a point;
5. South 35'33'04" East a distance of 705.60 feet at a non-tangent point
of curve to the left;
