body of the City of Georgetown, pursuant to Local Government Code Section 43.028, by written petition,
properly acknowledged, to annex said area of land into the City of Georgetown, to -wit:
All of that certain 61.74 acre tract in the William Addison Survey that is more particularly described by
metes and bounds in Exhibit "A, " and shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "B, " both of which
Exhibits are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full; and
WHEREAS, the said area of land is less than one -half mile in width, is contiguous to the existing
city limits of the City of Georgetown, and is vacant and without residents or has fewer than three
qualified voters residing on it.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
That the said Petition, being proper and according to law, shall be, and it is hereby, granted; and,
further, the City Secretary is directed to commence the publication of notices of two public hearings to be
held on October 23, 2001 and on November 13, 2001 before the City Council on the subject of the
proposed annexation of the said area into the City of Georgetown; and further, to place upon the City
Council Agendas for November 27, 2001 and December 11, 2001 the consideration of the passage of an
ordinance annexing said area into the City of Georgetown.

ANNEXATION SERVICE PLAN
61.74 ACRES IN THE WILLIAM ADDISION SURVEY, LOCATED EAST OF SOUTHWESTERN
BOULEVARD, AND SOUTH AND EAST {}FRA|NTREESUBDIVISION
Introduction
This service plan has been prepared in accordance with Texas Local Government Code,
Chapter 43 - yWUOiCipa| Annexation. This requires that the service plan provide for the extension
of full municipal services tOthe area b]be annexed bv any Of the methods hv which it extends
services to any other area of the municipality.
Police Protection
`
Regular and routine patrolling of streets, responses to calls, and other police services will be
provided upon the effective date Df the annexation.
Fire Protection and Code Enforcement
Fire protection and prevention services are currently being provided to the area through 8O
agreement with Williamson County. These services will continue tOb8 provided tD the area
upon the effective date ofthe aOD8X8tiDO. Upon the effective date of the annexation, the City
Code EDfDr}eDl8Ot Officer will periodically patrol streets in the area to SOSUFG that all properties
are iD conformance with City Code.
Solid Waste Collection
Solid waste collection and disposal services will be provided upon the effective date Ofthe
annexation, in accordance with the rates, terms and conditions contained in the City Code.
Water Service
Water lines will be extended iOaccordance with City policy. The City has 8 Utility Expansion and
Improvement Policy, which is described iD this service plan.
Sewer Service
Wastewater lines will be extended iD accordance with City policy. The City has a Utility Expansion
and Improvement Policy, which is described iO this service plan.
Maintenance of Roads, Streets, and Drainage
Roads, streets and drainage facilities dedicated to the public will be maintained accordin' to City
Code and policy upon the effective date Ofthe annexation.
Street Liahtina
Street lighting will be made available upon the effective date Of the annexation, upon request Of
the property owners, iD accordance with City Code and policy.

Parks and Recreation

and policy upon the effective date of the annexation. Recreation services will be provided to all
residents in accordance with the rates, terms and conditions contained in the Ciiy Code.
Planning and Zoning
Upon the effective date of the annexation, the planning and zoning jurisdiction of the City will
extend to this area. The area will be zoned A (Agricultural), unless otherwise approved through
regular procedures.
Insoection Services
All inspection services, including building, electrical, plumbing, etc., provided by the City will be
extended to the area upon the effective date of the annexation.
Library Services
Library services will be provided to all residents in accordance with the rates, terms, and
conditions contained in the City Code upon the effective date of the annexation.
Other Services
Other services provided by the City, such as animal control, court, and general administration,
will be made available upon the effective date of the annexation, in accordance with the City
Code and policies.
Utility Expansion and Improvement Policy
City Ordinance Number 900404, a Utility Expansion and Improvement Policy, guides the
planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of all utility system improvements,
including water, wastewater and electrical service.
