A RESOLUTION • THE CITY COUNCIL • THE CITY •
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF
A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR ROY HEADRICK, JR. AND
JANIE HEADRICK AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has received a request from Georgetown Title
Company, Inc. for the release of a special assessment lien against property currently
owned by Roy Headrick, Jr. and Janie Headrick; and
WHEREAS, by ordinance dated January 25, 1923, an assessment lien was levied
against a portion of the "Homestead Block" also known as Block G of the W.C. Dalrymple's
Addition (also known as W.B. Dalrymple's Addition) to the City of Georgetown, Williamson
County, Texas, being more particularly described as follows (the "Property"), and against
the real and true owner of said property to be due and payable within four years of said
assessment:
Being 0.258 of an acre of land, more or less, and being a portion of the
"Homestead Block" also known as Block G of the W.C. Dalrymple's Addition
(also known as W.B. Dalrymple's Addition) to the City of Georgetown,
Williamson County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in
Volume 20, Page 619, Deed Records, Williamson County, Texas, and being
the same property as conveyed in deed dated April 16, 1993, executed by
Mildred Adell Foust and Zelma B. George to Bicente Camacho and wife,
Elvira L. Camacho recorded in Volume 2287, Page 761, Official Records of
Williamson County, Texas, and being more fully described by metes and
bounds in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has no financial records dating back to 1923;

WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing the request and finding the specific facts
as stated above, now concludes that the subject property should be released from the
special assessment lien.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution
are hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference
herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby
finds that this resolution implements Focus End 3.00 in the Growth and Physical
Development of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element, which states: "Citizens, business
owners and organizations enjoy the benefits of well-planned land usage in which conflicting
needs are balanced"; and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not
inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03
of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.

SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Secretary to
attest thereto a release of special assessment lien against the Property on behalf of the
City of Georgetown.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.

BEING 0.258 acre, part of Block G of the Dalrymple Addition, according
to the Revised Plat of the City of Georgetown, and part of the W.T.
Dalrymple Homestead, as indicated on the plat 'of W.C. Dalrymple's Addition,
►recorded in Vol. 201 Pg. 619, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.
This property is the same property conveyed to Bicente Camacho in Vol.
2287, Pg. 761, and the same property called 0.258 acre as described in.-a
deed to Roy Headrick Jr., et.ux., recorded in Document 2000004078, Official
Records. Surveyed on the ground in March of 2000, by William F. Forest,
Jr., Registered Professional Land Surveyor No. 1847.
BEGINNING at an iron pin found in the South line of University Avenue
and in the West line of Forest Street, at the Northeast corner of the lot
conveyed to Bicente Camacho, as referenced above.
THENCE with the West line of Forest Street, South at 147.73 feet pass
the North wall of a carport, continuing in all 150.0 feet to an iron pin
set in the dirt floor of the carport.
THENCE West, with the South line of the said Camacho tract, and with
the North line of a lot conveyed to A.D. Orme as described in Vol. 884, Pg.
374,passing through a room addition that is part of an existing frame
house, continuing in all 75.0 feet to an iron pin set 2.24 feet South of a
chain link fence.
THENCE with the West line of the Camacho lot and the East line of a
lot conveyed to C.J." Wade as described in Vol. 524, Pg. 191, North at 2.24
feet pass an iron pin set East of a fence corner, continuing with the same
line, in all 150.0 feet to an iron pin found.
THENCE with the South line of University Avenue, East 75.0 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING.
