WHEREAS, this property is one-half mile or less in width, is contiguous to the City limits of

residing on it; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas heard the petition and the
arguments for and against the annexation; and

all interested persons; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the annexation iSiOthe best interests Of
the City of Georgetown;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:

2. Growth and Physical Development End 7�, which states: "Annexation procedures and
standards benefit the community"
and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other
Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.
SECTION 2. The City Council Of the City 0f Georgetown hereby grants the petition for

On behalf of Del Webb Texas Limited Partnership, I am herewith requesting the
completion of voluntary annexation into the City of Georgetown for the parcels

referenced in the attached metes and bounds descriptions. Del Webb has now taken
ownership of all property within these parcels.
Per the Development Agreement between Del Webb and City of Georgetown dated
February 14, 1995, the Preliminary Plats containing the referenced parcel has previously
been approved by the City of Georgetown. Thus, Del Webb is requesting the completion
of the annexation.
