A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE 2000 TAX APPRAISAL ROLL AS SUBMITTED BY
THE TAX ASSESSOR - COLLECTOR AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Williamson County Tax Assessor- Colleetor'sOffice is under contract to provide
Tax Assessor - Collector services for the City of Georgetown;
WHEREAS, the 2000 Tax Appraisal Roll will be used to calculate the City of Georgetown's tax levy
rate;
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor - Collector, in performance of her duties, has submitted the 2000 Tax
Appraisal Roll to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby
found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a wart
hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that this ordinance implements the follow; ; 4r
policy of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element:
1. Facilities and Services Policy End 4.0, which states: "The City provides for the
safety of its citizens and supports the responsive delivery of coordinated services by the City
and other public agencies," and

SECTION 2. The 2000 Tax Appraisal Roil as submitted by the City's Tax Assessor- Collector is
in all things adopted and approved. A copy of the summary roll is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and
incorporated by reference herein.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign this resolution and the City Secretary to
attest. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
