The City COUOd| hereby finds that this neSO|UtiOO implements the following policies Of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element: 18.7463 acre Sun City Georgetown Phase 4-D. Neighborhood 17-B Page 1 of 2 1. Environmental and Resource Conservation End 3.0, which states: "The physical qualities that make Georgetown attractive are protected"; and 2. Growth and Physical Development End 7.2, which states: "Annexation procedures and standards benefit the community" and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan. SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Georgetown hereby grants the petition for voluntary annexation of 18.7436 ACRES IN THE FREDERICK FOY SURVEY, ABSTRACT 229,TO BE KNOWN AS THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT OF SUN CITY GEORGETOWN PHASE 4-D, NEIGHBORHOOD SEVENTEEN-B, LOCATED ALONG SUN CITY BOULEVARD, as described in Exhibit A. SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign on behalf of the City Council of the City of Georgetown. SECTION 4. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption. I am herewith reqUeSting the completion of voluntary annexation into the City of Georgetown for the parcels referenced in the attached metes and bounds descriptions. Del Webb has now taken ownership of all property within these parcels. Per the Development Agreement between Del Webb and City of Georgetown dated February 14, 1995, the Preliminary Plats containing the referenced parcel has previously been approved by the City of Georgetown.
