A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF OF ; R ;,
TEXAS RE-APPOINTING DIRECTORS TO THE GEORGETOWN
ENRICHMENT CORP. (formerly DIRECTORS; Georgetown
WHEREAS, the Articles of Incorporation for the Georgetown Enrichment Corp.
provide for the corporation to be managed by a board of directors which will be
comprised of seven persons appointed by the City Council for a two -year term of office;
WHEREAS, the Articles of Incorporation provide for staggered two -years terms
of office with places 1, 3, 5 and 7 appointed in odd - numbered years and places 2, 4 and 6
in even - numbered years, and
WHEREAS, the terms for places 2, 4 and 6 have expired and the City Council
finds it to be in the public's best interest to make these appointments to the board of
directors.
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this
resolution are hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by
reference herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City
Council hereby finds that this resolution implements the following Century Plan
Elements(s):
Governmental Affairs Policy End 15.00- A high level of cooperation and involvement
exists among Georgetown's citizens and governmental organizations.
And further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with
any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative
Chapter of the Policy Plan.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Georgetown hereby re- appoints
the following individuals to the Board of directors of the Georgetown Enrichment Corp.:
Place 2 -Bryan Guilbeau Term expires - 9/30/2002
Place 4- Milton Ritter Term expires - 9/30/2002
Place 6 -Larry Swofford Term expires - 9/30/2002
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately.
