WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has received a request from the following
owners of the following properties to be voluntarily included within the City's Extraterritorial
Jurisdiction ("ETJ"):
Escalera Ranch, Ltd., a Texas limited partnership: 150.754 acres as described in
Exhibit "A"
Anne Vinther Patience: 1150.3442 acres as described in Exhibit "B" save and
except 150.754 acres more fully described in Exhibit "A"
WHEREAS, all parcels are identified on a map and by metes and bounds
descriptions attached to this Resolution as Exhibit "C"; and
WHEREAS since all parcels are being accepted at one time, and certain of the
parcels are currently contiguous to the City's existing ETJ, then all the property requested
to be included within the ETJ will be contiguous to the current ETJ; and
WHEREAS, Section 42.022 of the Texas Local Government Code allows for
properties that are contiguous to the ETJ of a City to voluntarily be included into the City's
ETJ upon request of the property owner and acceptance by the City;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
*F GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution
are hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference
herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby
finds that this resolution implements the following policy of the Century Plan - Policy Plan:
Growth and Physical Development Policy 7-0: "Georgetown's land uses
support economic, cultural and social activities for all residents, businesses
and organizations; and the City's development process encourages new and
infill development."
The City Council further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in
conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the
Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.
SECTION 2. The City hereby accepts the properties identified in the attached
Exhibits "A" through "C" into the City's ETJ for all purposes, effective immediately and will
prepare and file a document in the Official Records of Williamson County, Texas, as notice
to future purchasers that the property is now within the City's ETJ.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
