A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, VACATING AND ABANDONING THE PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENTS AND BUILDING LINES ON LOTS 6 AND 7 OF
GEORGETOWN SOUTH, PHASE ONE, A SUBDIVISION OF RECORD IN
CABINET C, SLIDE 115, PLAT RECORDS, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS,
SAID LOTS 6 AND 7 HAVING BEEN SUBSEQUENTLY RESUBDIVIDED
AND NOW BEING A PART OF BLOCK C, LOTS 2-10 OF THE FINAL PLAT
OF PLEASANT VALLEY SECTION TWO, A SUBDIVISION OF RECORD IN
CABINET CC, SLIDE 210, PLAT RECORDS, WILLIAMSON COUNTY,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has received a request for the Vacation and
Abandonment of the Public Utility Easements and Building Lines shown on Lots 6 and 7 of
Georgetown South Phase One, a subdivision of record described above and shown on the
attached Exhibit "A" (the "Property"), said Lots 6 and 7 having been subsequently
resubdivided and now being part of Block C, Lots 2-10 of The Final Plat of Pleasant Valley
Section Two, a subdivision of record described above and shown on Exhibit "B"; and
WHEREAS, there are no utilities located or proposed to be located within the Property
that have not since been relocated to validly existing utility easements and all necessary utility
easements and building lines were established by the resubdivision; and
WHEREAS, this resolution shall not be construed as an abandonment and/or vacation of
any provision established by The Final Plat of Pleasant Valley Section Two; and
WHEREAS, upon considering the request for Vacation and Abandonment and
additional information pertaining to the request, the City Council now finds that a public need
for the Property no longer exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are
hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and
expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that the
adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any of the City's 2030
Comprehensive Plan policies.

SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any other conveyance
document(s) necessary to complete the vacation and abandonment of the Property and the City
Secretary is authorized to attest thereto on behalf of the City of Georgetown.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
