Consideration and possible action to approve minutes from February 4th meeting- Claire Janes
-Sara Peacock motions to approve these minutes. Rachel Champion seconds. Vote unanimous in favor of
motion.
Presentation of key points learned/project ideas gained from YAC Summit- Sara Peacock, Claire Janes,
Rachel Champion, Jessica Zohner, Parker Tadlock
The board learned more about leadership and how to promote it throughout Georgetown. The board
also learned more about how to be successful in college. It was also good to see the different cultures
that attended the summit and how they organize their boards.
Sara Peacock motions to close this item and move on to the next one. Rachel Champion seconds. Vote
unanimous in favor of motion.
Distribution of duties for Georgetown City Limits- Sara Peacock
-Start advertising in throughout Georgetown to get middle/high school bands to participate.
-Sara will make flyers and contact the band and choir directors.
-Jessica will talk to Ken’z Guitars to see if they might provide prizes or judging.
-Claire will price out the cost for 20 pizzas.
-The board is going to try and get a head count of the number of people attending and will decide if
airbrush tattoos will be offered.
-Each band member will receive one additional wristband for a guest to attend.

favor of motion.
Consideration and possible action to choose a spring service project- GYAB members
Look into doing a supply drive for the NEST. Sara will make flyers to advertise for the drive. Vote
unanimous in favor of doing a supply drive for the NEST.
Consideration and possible action to select new meeting day/time-Parker Tadlock
The meeting time and day will stay the same as of right now.
