The Board, appointed by the Mayor and tl�e City Council, manes recommendations to the City Council on affordable housing matters. Bills provided Board background information regarding developing a program through which the City can leverage our 3evelopment standards and res es to offer housing de elopers centives to provide affordable- housing. Bills els outlined s e ba c criteria's that could be considered when eva]uating projects for incentive eligibility. Board members and staff discussed green building and r so c vation_ Board members asked if a recommendation can be made to reduce [he de eloper requirements that add additional cost, such as amounr of trees on a site, t ndsca ping, ga age ,etc. Board also asked if building requirements can be waived, such as setback, fc-nee hcighA .mpervious coverage and possibly a Iowan percan [age of masonry or material type. Board stated if the City i nable to w e fees than possibly waive what the developer has to build i my specific designated[ ar - of Georgetown. Board and staff set a goal for next month to lis[ specific inc-enkives and requirements for City Council to consider. 5. Discussion n staff presentation of multifamily housing policy r rch to City Council. Board and staff discussed getting on the agenda for the V� mectin�g in Novc-mbcr. Board will presenk and r cove feedback from the City Council on the "Revised Multi -Family Location Map" to City Council of designated areas for affordable multi -family hov sing along with possible incentives Fnr developers to provide affordable housing. 6.
