WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has contracted the Pecan Branch Wastewater
Interceptor project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council requested funding by the Texas Water Development Board
for this project; and
WHEREAS, DevelopmentBoard requires## of the project
costs be retained until such time as the Texas Water Development Board certifies that all
requirements of the the project have been met and are complete, and
WHEREAS, one of -quirements of the project is a City Council resolution to accept
the project, and agree to release final payment (except for the required 5% retainage);
THEREFORE, RESOLVED

OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: The Pecan Branch Wastewater Interceptor project has
been satisfactorily completed and inspected, and is hereby accepted into the Cityof Georgetown
Wastewater System, and the Contractor's Warranty start date shall begin as of the date of this
resolution, «
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That final payment (except for 5% retainage) be
released to the contractor of the Pecan Branch Wastewater Interceptor project, with 5%
retainage being released upon Texas Water Development Board f s of the 7 . o
