The Board, appointed by thv Mayor and ilie City Council, makes icconim ndations to l lie City Council on affordable housing matters: Regular Session -'I'o begin no earlier than 3:30 p.m, The meeting rN as called to order at 3:41 by Todd. B. Discussion and possible action to recommend changes to the 2030 Cornprobonsiv .Plan during tine annual update. Jennifer C. Bills, Housing Coordinator and Jordan Maddox; Principal Planner. (Woodard arrii'ed at 3:49) Mi)ddox anti Bills briefly discussed the annual update to the City o1 Geor getos n'Ci 2030 Comprehensive Plan_ One of the immn parts of the plan is the Future Land Use Map which designates land uses throughout Gcorgetown city limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction. Both Doering and Williamson discussed future sites for n1ultifamily housing and 1110 Housing Advisory Board's wo,-k. Superintendent Lee was pleased the 1-lousmn Advisory Board comrmrniCMed with him about what the Board is doing relative to offordable housing. Superintendent Lee would like the board to convey his support for the proposed locations on workforce housing to the City C.oua7CiL Board and staff commended Doering and Wilhanr:on for the presentation. Bilk, I lousing Coordinator Bills discussed how her Hous;ng'lax Credit Iosoiution for Northwest Apartments Was pulled from the consent agenda to the regular agenda by Councilrnember Knight ori January 28, 2014. T.ought, had many qucstioris and concerns regarding the backup information on, analysis that supports this resolution. Bills stated she clarified to Counci this is an existing c:ornplex and they are lust asking for funding for upgrades. Bills stater' to Council it will not have any impact cin the schools. Bills stated she tried explaining; to Council itis a requirement of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TCI ICA) that the application for funds must receive approval from Council. Bills stated she foresees this to be an issue in the future seeking approve fl born City Council it HAB does not pmsent a detailed analysis of the 2 times ratio and the impact to C ISD: Bills brieflV discussed the home Repair Program that was presented to City Council on February H, 1-1014 during well kshop.
