RULES AND REGULATIONS GEORGETOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
and MINIMUM STANDARDS GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
The original Airport Rules and Regulations and Minimum Standards were the basis for the creation of
the updated documents; most of the original material has been restructured and rearranged to fit a
new template as follows:
• Rules and Regulations apply to everyone using the airport – pilots, passengers, visitors, tenants,
etc. Rules and Regulations generally define specific relationships between activities, individuals,
operations and other attributes of the airport, and they are designed to be universally applied
throughout the range of airport uses and activities.
• Minimum Standards are intended to deal primarily with airport businesses or other activities
which provide service to the public or which engage in pursuits that reflect manner in which the
airport, as a publicly owned facility, serves the public.
The revised Rules & Regulations and Minimum Standards are contained as a separate report, and
are in final draft form. It is anticipated that the Georgetown Airport Advisory Board and the City
Council of Georgetown will be able to consider these new documents as final draft form and
should be able to adopt them, should they wish to do so, with little or no changes.
