WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown did enter into a Lease Agreement for Hangar
with Eagle Precision Instruments effective August 1, 1992 and, i
WHEREAS, Eagle Precision Instruments desires to transfer and assign said Lease,
with certain modifications, to Robert B. Currey & Associates-, and,
WHEREAS, the Airport Advisory Board voted to recommend that the Council
approve said Assignment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are
hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein
and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council finds that this
resolution implements Facilities & Services Policy #1 of the Century Plan -Policy Plan
Element, which states, "The City will endeavor to increase the quality of life through the
upgrading of existing facilities and services and the provision of new services to meet the
specific needs of the community"; and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not
inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of
the Adstrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Secretary to
attest thereto the Lease Assignment between Eagle Precision Instruments (Assignor) and
Robert B. Currey & Associates (Assignee) on behalf of the City of Georgetown.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoptiol
