RESOLUTION O.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 910511,
ADDING MAYOR WOOD TO THE LIST OF AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES
ON TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM GRANTS NO.
700088 AND 709102
WHEREAS, the Texas Community Development Program
Implementation Manual requires that the recipient organizations
shall provide authenticated documentation, including a sample
signature, authorizing the Mayor to act as the city's Chief
Executive Officer and authorized representative in all matters
pertaining to the city's participation in the Texas Community
Development Program; and
WHEREAS, the recipient organization, being the City of
Georgetown, Texas, has met this requirement by the City Council
passing a resolution naming this authority,*
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this
resolution are hereby found to be true and correct, and are
incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a part
hereof, as if copied verbatim.
The City Council hereby finds that this resolution
implements Housing Policy 1 of the Century Plan which states,
"The City will work with builders, developers, and property
owners to provide safe and adequate housing opportunities for all
household types," and Economic Development Policy 1 of the
Century Plan which states, "The City will encourage diversified
growth and promote business opportunities to create jobs, broaden

is and minimize the impact of economic fluctuations,"
and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not in
conflict or inconsistent with any other Century Plan Policies as
required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative chapter of the
Plan;
Mayor Leo Wood is hereby given signature authority on City
of Georgetown Texas Community Development Program grants 700088
and 709102.
SECTION 3
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and the City
Secretary to attest.

This resolution shall be effective immediately upon
adoption.
