NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution a 14

SECTION 2. A Texas Community Development Program application for Community
110,evelopment Funds is hereby authorized to be filed on behalf of the City with the Texas
Fojepartment of Housing and Community Affairs.
SECTION 3. The City's application be placed in competition for funding under the
Community Development Fund.
SECTION 4. The application be for $200,298 of grant funds to carry out water, sewer,
flood and drainage improvements and related engineering.

SECTION 5. The City commit $40,060 from its General Fund as a cash contribution Vt
be matched with Texas Community Development Funds to be used for flood and drainage
improvements and grant administration.
SEC71ON 6 The City Council directs and designates the Mayor as the City's Chi
Executive Officer and Authorized Representative to act in all matters in connection with th
application and the City's participation in the Texas Community Development Program.
