WHEREAS, the United States Government, the Criminal Justice Division of the
Governor's Office, and the Capital Area Planning Council has tentatively approved funds for the
1992 - 1993 fiscal year for initiation of grant programs;
WHEREAS, the Division of Police Services was indicated as a recipient of additional
funds to supplement existing funds for the purposes of providing enhanced and mandated victim
services under a Victim Services Representative Grant;
WHEREAS, the second grant year period win begin October 1, 1992 and a resolution
is required for the grant to be accepted for the initial grant year-,

opportunities"; Facilities and Services Policy, "Increase the quality of life by upgrading existing
and providina new facilities and services"; Governmental Affairs Policy i, "Pursue increased

with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2A3 ot the Administrative Chapter
of the Policy Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIUL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
