• OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN,TEXASAUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO SIGN A CONTRACT WITH WILLIAMSON COUNTY
FOR THE PURCHASE OF DIESEL FUEL FOR THE
COUNTY EMS VEHICLES; AND ESTABLISHING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown currently operates a facility for distribution of diesel
fuel, located on City property in the vicinity of the City Vehicle Maintenance Area; and
WHEREAS, Williamson County has requested to be able to use this facility to fill their
emergency medical service vehicles with diesel fuel; and
WHEREAS, Williamson • has agreed to reimburse the City on a monthly basis at
a rate equal to the City's cost for said fuel; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this action implements Governmental Affairs
Policy 1, and Health and Human Services Policy I of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element,

by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE� BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:

The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby found and
declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made 7,
part hereof, as if copied verbatim.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Secretary to attest thereto a
contract with Williamson County on behalf of the City of Georgetown.
