M Community Development Block Grant Application Resolution No. 1710 Page 1 of 3 9991M A Texas Community Development Program application for Community Development Funds is hereby authorized to be filed on behalf of the City with the Texas Department of Commerce. • The City's application be placed in competition for funding under the Community Development Program. The application be for $250,000.00 of grant funds to carry out water and sewer system improvements, street improvements, and flood and drainage improvements, engineering,, and general administration costs. The City Council of the City of Georgetown directs and designates the Mayor to act in all matters in connection with this application and the City's participation in the Texas Community Development Program. The City commit $197,975.00 from its General Fund as a cash contribution to be matched with Texas Community Development Funds to be used for street improvements and general administration costs.
