TO PROVIDE NUTRITIONAL SERVICES FOR THE
ELDERLY CITIZENS OF GEORGETOWN, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME AND
THE CITY SECRETARY TO ATTEST.
WHEREAS, Williamsturnet County Opportunities, Inc. (WBCO) has demonstratj
the ability to provide nutritional services to the elderly in the past-, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown and WBCO desire to enter into an Agreement for
WBCO to provide nutritional services for the elderly citizens of Georgetown;
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this action implements Health and Human
Services Policy #1, which states, "The City will cooperate with public and private health and
human services related organizations to assure that there are comprehensive and affordable
services available", and is not found to be inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan
policies as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:

The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby found
and declared to be true and correct and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made
a part hereof as if copied verbatim.
That the City Council of the City of Georgetown approves the Agreement between the
City of Georgetown and WBCO attached hereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth at
length.

This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption and that the Mayor be
authorized to execute the Agreement and the City Secretary to attest thereto.
