A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AMENDING TIRE ADOPTION AGREEMENT
OF A CAFETERIA (IRC SECTION 125 PLAN) FOR THE ADDITION OF
A HEALTH EXPENSE REIMMURSEMIENT SUPPLEMENT TO THE
PLAN.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas desires to provide a
sheltered program for the City employees to pay eligible health expenses - and 1
WHEREAS, an IRC Section 125 Plan (also known as a Cafeteria Plan) is available to
provide such a program.
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this action implements Finance Policy 1 of
the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element, which states: "The City will conduct all municipal
operations in an efficient business -like manner", and
V�THEREAS, the City Council has found that this action is not inconsistent or in conflict
with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter
of the Policy Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCH, OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:

The City Council hereby adopts and authorizes the Mayor to sign the attached
Amendment to the Adoption Agreement to provide for the health expense reimbursement
supplement to the City of Georgetown Cafeteria Plan.

Cafeteria Plan, which includes these separate benefit plans:
