A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UTILIZATION OF THE FIRM OF
BLAZIER, RUTLAND &LERNER TO PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES FOR;
THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN DURING THE INTERIM PERIOD PRIOR
TO TEE HIRING OF A PERMANENT CITY ATTORNEY
fVHEREAS, the City of Georgetown wishes to retain the
services of the law firm of'Blaaier, .Rutland & Lerner, to provide
legal services for the City Georgetown during the interim period
prior to the hiring of a -permanent City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that these services are
necessary and that the law firm of Blamer, Rutland & Lerner, will
be able to assist the City of Georgetown in legal matters in the
absence of a City Attorney; and the Council finds it in its best
interest to contract for their services; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:

The City Council finds that the recitals set forth above are true
and correct and are adopted herein verbatim as if fully set forth
at length.
SECTION II.
The City Council approves retaining the firm of Glazier, Rutland
& Lerner, to provide legal services for the City of Georgetown
during the interim period prior to the hiring of a permanent City
Attorney, The Council: approves expenditures for these services in
an amount not to exceed $10,000,
SECTION III,
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute this resolution and the
City Secretary to attest,
