A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS AND ROUND ROCK FAMILY Y.M6C4A.'(YMCA)
FOR THE YMCA TO PROVIDE QUALIFIED LIFEGUARD STAFF AND
SUPERVISORS FOR THE CITY'S AQUATICS PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME AND THE CITY
SECRETARY TO ATTEST,
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas has an Aquatics
Program which provides a recreational service to its citizens;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that qualified lifeguard
staff And supervisors are essential for the operation of thi?
City's"aquatic program; and
WHEREAS, the YMCA has established itself as a provider of
quality aquatic programs which are staffed by professionals, and
WHEREAS, the YMCA and the City of Georgetown desire to'enter
into an agreement for the YMCA to provide lifeguard staff ant
supervisors for the City's aquatic program, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL* OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
The Council finds that the recitals set forth above are true
and correct and are incorporated herein.

That the City Council approves the agreement between the
City of Georgetown and Round Rook Family YMCA for lifeguard staff
and supervisor services which agreement is attached hereto and
incorporated herein, as if fully set forth at length.
The agreement shall be for a period from May 15, 1989 to
September 15, 1989 and shall not exceed $ 40,000.00.
SECTION IV.
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the agreement
and the City Secretary to attest.
