A RESOLUTION APPROVING AUTHORIZATION FOR CITY STAFF TO
PROCEED WITH PREPARATION OF DOCUMENTATION AND SUBMITTALS'
RELATED TO APPLICATION OF THE 1090 TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT
BOARD STATE REVOLVING LOAN FUND, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the single
supplier of waste water treatment within its cooperate limits, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that safe and efficient
collection of waste water is essential to the operation of the
City's Public Utilities Department; and
WHEREAS, the City staff, representing the City of
Georgetown, Texas, desire to proceed with preparation of documents
and submittals, for application of the 1990 Texas Water
Development Board State Revolving Loan Fund, and authorizing the
Mayor to execute the same;
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this action
implements (Utilities/Energy Policy 3) of the Century Plan -
Policy Plan Element, and is not found to be inconsistent or i
conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required b,
Section 2*03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plal
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS;
Section I. That the City finds the recitals set fort
above are true and correct and are incorporated herein. N
Section II. That the City Council authorizes City staff to
proceed with preparation of documentation and submittals of the
application for the Texas Water Development Board State Revolving
Loan Fund for 1990, and authorizing the Mayor to execute the same,
and City secretary to attest.

RE: State Revolving Fund Program
At this time City staff is requesting that City Council
authorize staff to proceed in keeping us eligible for these
funds by processing the necessary submittals and meeting the
key dates as requested by the Texas Water Development Board.
Frequently during the course of this process, Council will be
kept advised of the status and be asked for action on certain
items that pertain to this application for funds.
Funding Source: Utility Capital
Proposed Motion: Motion to authorize staff to prepare the
necessary documents in order to keep the ity o eorgetown
eligible for the 1990 Texas Water Development Board State
Revolving Funds.
