A RESOLUTION WAIVING PERMIT FEES, UTILITY
CONNECT FEES, CAPITAL RECOVERY FEES AND
SITE PLAN REVIEW FEES FOR THE CARING PLACE.
WHEREAS, Georgetown Community Service Center proposes to
construct a facility of approximately 5,000 square for The Caring
Place at 2001 Railroad Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the value to the community
of services which The Caring Place provides and the City Council
desires to help reduce the costs of constructing the new Caring
Place facility by waiving the collection o certain City fees
normally collected prior to the issuance of building permits;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas that the City Council hereby waives the
assessment and collection ofo
1. Fees for building, plumbing, electrical and
mechanical permits;
2. Fees for utility connections;
3. Capital Recovery Fees
4, Site Plan Review Fees
for the construction of The Caring Place, a building of
approximately 5,000 square feet, at 2001 Railroad Streel
READ, PASSED,AND APPROVED in public meeting this eighth day of
August, 1989.

Subject: Waiver of City fees for The Caring Place
Representatives of The Caring Place have requested that the City
waive all fees normally collected prior to the issuance of a
building permit. Based on information available to the staff as
of this date, fees for The Caring Place will be:
Permits (building, plumbing,
electrical, mechanical --approximate) $ 490
Utility Connection (sewer & electrical) 800
Capital Recovery (wastewater only) 1,500
Site Plan Review 250.
$3,040
A Council resolution waiving these fees follows.
Also attached are minutes of the July 27, 1989 meeting of the
Intergovernmental Relations Committee and staff with representa-
tives of The Caring Place, in which the City agreed to cooperate
in expediting requests for waivers and required approvals for
this project.
