A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AND A { A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY,

THE AWARD OF A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR CITY WASTEWATER IMPROVEME
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE SAME. I
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the major supplier of
wastewater service within its corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that safe and efficient
collection of wastewater is essential to the operation of the City's
Public Utilities Department; and
WHEREAS, Flanagan Construction Company has been qualified as a
professional in utility construction and has shown competency in
completion of construction projects in the City of Georgetown, and
WHEREAS, Flanagan Construction Company and the City of Georgetown
desire to enter into an agreement for construction contract for wastewater
line construction,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
Section I. That the City Council find the recitals set forth
above are true and correct and are incorporated herein.
Section II. That the City Council approves the agreement between
the City of Georgetown and Flanagan Construction Company for
construction contract for City project no, 00373, 00374, and 00375
funded from Utility Capital Project which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein, as if fully set forth at length.
Section III. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
Contract Documents and the City Secretary to attest.
