Home My WebLink AboutMinutes_GYAB_11.20.2014Minutes for November 20, 2014 Meeting called to order at 05:54 pm  Members in attendance: o Thomas Janes o Cooper Cash o Jacqueline Massey Motion to Table Minutes of Previous Meeting- Thomas Janes  Seconded by Cooper Cash  Unanimous approval Discussion of Disc Golf Tournament  Tentative date set for April 11th, 2015  There is a possibility that any money made can be partnered with another organization, such as the GHS chapter of HOSA, to be donated to a cause, such as a Leukemia/Cancer foundation  There may be a local business to sponsor  Motion to table by Janes, seconded by Cash , unanimous approval Swearing in of Officers  Janes, Cash and Massey filled out necessary forms Discussion of MLK Day of Service  Jim Robertson will be meet on December 2nd, 2014 with the Georgetown Project  Members will mulch trees on the day, they may clean up litter in the parks  The GYAB might assist The Locker, The Nest, or the Ride On Center for Kids  Motion to table by Janes, seconded by Cash, unanimous approval Discussion of a Teen Center Event  The party will take place on December 12th, 2014 from 04:30 to 06:30 pm.  The budget is unofficially set for $1000.00  Inflatable bouncy houses will cost about $500.00  There may be a karaoke machine and videogames  Service hours will be available to people who wish to help set up on December 11th, 2014.  Motion to table by Janes, seconded by Cash, unanimous approval Meeting adjourned at 06:2 pm Motion by Janes, seconded by Cash, unanimous approval Approved: ______________________________ Chairman, Thomas ______________________________ Staff Liaison, Jim Robertson
