Resolution MOKAN 19.) PLANNING REPORT: Additional information has been brought to our attention by Mr. Parker regarding ownership of adjacent property and the alignment of existing buildings. We have rediscussed this matter with our engineers and conclude that 1) the road is necessary 2) it should align with Park Meadow Blvd. Therefore, it is our recommendation that the road (601 R.O.W.) be on the Williamsburg Village land but half the cost of R.O.W. and construction be borne by the developers of the adjacent unplatted and undeveloped land to the west on Booty's Road. 14. APPROVE MINUTES Motion by King and second by Colbert to approve the minutes of the April 23. 1985 minutes as submitted by City Secretary Pat Caballero. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 2. APPROVE BILLS $2000.08 Motion by Colbert and second by King to approve the bills over $2000.00 as submitted by City Manager Leo Wood. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 3. APPROVE FIRE STATION RENOVATION BIDS - LES BUNTE Motion by King and second by Shell to accept ~-- following recommendationsof Fire Chief Les Bunte: 1) That the city staff be authorized to advertise for bids seeking sub -contractors. 2) That the fire chief serve as general contractor utilizing the expertise of other city staff members. 3) That the project be initiated as soon as possible and that it continue until expenses for the project reach $100v000.00 at that time, we will re-examine our alternatives for the project. 4) That the firm of Whitaker McQueen, Jones & Associates continue to be retained as -a consultant at the current hourly rate of the original contract. Voting went as follows: Yes: Girvin, King Colbert and Shell. Abstain: Connor. Motion carried. 4. APPROVE PARADE PERMIT REQUEST - RENEE HANSON No action taken on this matter. 5. RESOLUTION - TEXAS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - OLD SOUTHWEST TOWN REVITALIZATION Motion by Colbert and second by Connor to approve a resolution authorizing the mayor to submit an application to the Texas Department of Community Affairs for funding under the Texas Community Development Program and to execute the program when approved. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 6. UNIVERSITY HILLS SECTION ONE - REVISED FINAL PLAT - NAME CHANGE Motion by Connor and second by Colbert to approve the name change of University Hills Section One to University Park. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 7.
