TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY OF David and Sara Ann Vidaure IN THE Nicholas FROM R -S Single ZONING CLASS- �^UJNnzr ���: ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of changing the zoning district classification of the following described real estate from a R -S Residnetial Single Family District, to a RM -3 RESIDENTIAL MULTIPLE FAMILY District zoning cl-iTssification; said property being more particularly de�_c_ribed as follows, to -wit: Lots 3,4,5,6,7,8 Block 22 Revised City of Georgetown Map as recorded in_Vol. 26, Paqe 321. of the Deed Records of Williamson county, Tex—as; and which property is more fully described on the attached Exhibit "A". WHEREAS, the applicant for such zoning change has requested of said City that such change of zoning district classification be made subject to the following 1. That the City will grant such special exceptions from the Zoning Ordinance as required to allow building over internal lot lines. 2. That the owner of the property referenced above will cooperate with the Planning Department in implementing the concept of creating a public pedestrian accessway through or adjacent to this property, 3. That the Owner agrees to submit a site plan for approval by City Council prior to application for building permit, and WHEREAS, City Council has submitted the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing same in a weekly newspaper � \ in the City of Georgetown, Texas" which notice stated the time and place of �~�/ hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen daysfrom the first day of such publication; and WHEREAS, written notice was given not less than fifteen (lG) days before the date set for the meeting before the Planning and Zoning Commission, to all the owners of the lots within 280 feet of the above described property, as required by law; and WHEREAS, the applicant for such zoning change placed on the property for which such change is applied such sign(s) as required by law for advertising thePlanning and Zoning Commission hearing, not less than fifteen (15) days before the date set for said hearing; and _ WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission in a meeting held on all �ust 6th , 19 85 , recommended the changing of said Zoning District ClAssification as provided in the Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from a R -S Single Family to RM -3 residential Multiple Family District Zoning Classification. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, as well as the Zoning District Classification of said property, be amended so that the bed above shall be and the same is hereby removed from R_S Single Family District to KM -3 Residential Multiple Family District Zoning Classification. The variance request is for a 3" intrusion into the front building line so that I may add veneer to the house front. This lot is recorded in metes and bounds in the Old Town City Map. The right property line between 1103 Quail Valley and 1105 Quail Valley has an en- croachment of 1.6' inside the building line. We are also building the duplex next door at 1105 Quail Valley where the,side line,is 9' if you take the total distance between the two buildings we have 14.4' between the buildings.
