Located on Northwest Blvd, & IH -35 Frontage Rd. Tract has C2B zoning. Vacant land, milli -family and businesses in this area - 2001 buffer strip of R -S zoned land along NW edge of plat. Master Plan Sector 4. Commercial - Multi -family use is appropriate. Comments: 1. Site plans will be required for any of these lots which have more than 1 building on them. Before building permits are issued, P & Z will review. 2. Drainage requirements need Vo be addressed before final plat. Note: Plat should be passed conditioned upon drainage requirements being met. ITEM 4 14. PRELIMINARY PLAT - BRIARWOOD SECTION 111. Locationand Surrounding Area. Located adjacent to Serenade Estates. Single family to North and multi -family to South. Master Plan Sector 4. Multi -family use is appropriate, however road system lacks capacity. Comments: 1. Same off street parking requirements as Unit 11. (2 spaces per unit) 2. Last 4 lots should be limited to duplex. (Block D, Lot 17 --Lots 1 & 2, Block K -- Lot 7, Block E) 3. A road needs to be extended to the South. 4. Need completion of drainage information. Note: Plat should be passed conditioned upon above requirements being met. ITEM 4 15. PRELIMINARY PLAT - HORIZON COMMERCIAL PARK. Location and Surrounding Area, Located South of'West Fork Smith Branch and on the East side of F.M. 1460. Area is vacant land and single family residences. Master Plan Sector 7. Care should be taken to buffer existing homes. Comments: 1. Need completion of drainage information. Note: Plat should be passed conditioned upon drainage requirements being met. ITEM # 25. VARIANCE - LOT 8, BLOCK 8, QUAIL MEADOW II. Location - 1202 ])unman Drive just South of River Bend Drive. Comments - Public Works Director, Wink Walden has checked the location of our utility lines. There is a sewer line in the easement, however, it is 51 from the corner of the house and he does not feel this would cause a problem. The Gas Company has been advised and have given us a letter stating that they have no objection to the variance. 3 members of the Planning and Zoning gave their approval to the variance, and I abstained. Keep Georgetown Best - Airport m uzm�� The City Council met in Special session on the above date at 9:00 AM with Mayor john C. Doerfler presiding. The following Councilmen and Officials were present: Eb. C. Girvin, Carl Doering, Marvin Lackey, Bill Connor, William C. Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary JJ'Mm Colber Public Works Director W. L. Walden, Tax/Finance Driector Barbara Raney and Planner Renee Hanson. I Keep Georgetown Best - Keep Georgetown Best presented the Council with information Airport concerning bidding on an Automated Flight Service Facility, No action was taken. Executive Session At this time Mayor Doerfler announced that the City Council would convene in executive session as provided by Article 6252-17, V.T.C.S. Following the executive session, the meeting was again opened to the public. Adjourn There being no further business, on a motion by Connor and seconded by Shell the meeting adjourned.
