HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CE RTAIN PROPERTY BY
THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT
ING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH OR CAUSE TO BE PUBLISHED NOTICE
OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING I
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown
has, at its meeting on this day held, considered the propriety
and the advisability of instituting annexation Proceedings
relative to a tract of land hereinafter mentioned; and
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly
filed by all of the owners of said tract of land; and
WHEREAS, Article 970a of Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes
of notice, scheduling of hearing and other such matters:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN that on the Z46z__/7 day of

1973, at _.,.5_'/e, -)o'clock, m., in the City Council Chamber
of City Hall of the City of Georgetown, Texas, the City Council
will hold a public hearing, giving all interested persons the
right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the
City of Georgetown, Texas, of the following described property,
to -wit:
That certain tract of 37.74 acres of land,
adjacent to University Hills, Section One,
a subdivision, all in Williamson County,
Texas, being further described by metes
and bounds in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein for all purposes.
WE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City (�T_
Georgetown is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of
such public hearing to be published once in a newspaper having
general circulation in the City, and in the above described
territory not more than twenty (20) days, nor less than ten (10)
days prior to the date of said public hearing, all in accordance
with the Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter 160, Acts of the 58th
Legislature, Regular Session, 1963; compiled as 970a, Vernon's
Texas Civil Statutes)
PASSED AND APPROVED this the qday of September,
1978, at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas.
